RHEF funded projects are supported by generous gifts from community members.

THE STUDENT IN NEED INITIATIVE

The Student in Need Initiative align’s with RHEF’s mission of equity for all students, regardless of their ability to pay. Your donations have provided, among other items, clothing, eye glasses, grocery and gas gift cards, field trip funds, exam fees, and school supplies for Red Hook students. These are just a few of the many ways your contribution makes a difference for Red Hook kids. Please join RHEF as we work together to meet the needs of students and families at home and in school by making a gift to the Student in Need Initiative.

RED HOOK COMMUNITY AUDITORIUM

Red Hook schools have a well-earned reputation for excellence and are consistently cited for academic achievement and innovation. The Red Hook School District is also distinguished by the lack of a dedicated performance space or auditorium. It’s the only school district in Dutchess County, and one of the few in New York, without this critical space to accommodate assemblies, band and choral concerts, live theater, lectures, and community meetings. RHEF wants to change that. RHEF is working with the Red Hook Central School District to envision, plan and ultimately build a Red Hook Community Auditorium that will accommodate a broad base of school and community needs. RHEF has been meeting with area leaders and members of the Red Hook community to gather information, assess community support, and secure private and public funding in support of the project. For more information, or to help make the Red Hook Community Auditorium a reality, contact us at info@redhookeducationfoundation.org.
